Spring afternoon

What's an old Deadhead to listen to on a beautiful spring afternoon? "Scarlet Begonias"?

I had to learn the hard way to let her pass by.

"Eyes of the World"?

Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world.

"Let It Grow"?

What shall we say, shall we call it by a name?
As well to count the angels dancing on a pin.

Well, it's March 26, so how about CD 2 of "Dozin' at the Knick," shows recorded March 24-26, 1990: "Playing in the Band" / "Uncle John's Band" / "Terrapin Station" / "Mud Love Buddy Jam."

Some folks up in treetops, just looking for their kites.

Yeah, that's the ticket.

Do you have the discs of Englishtown, NJ, 9/77? That's the live dead show that changed my life.

Have to admit though that's the only Dead I have on CD...

I put HCS on yesterday afternoon, from Dick's Picks vol. 1. Thanks for the reminder!

That was your first show, didn't you say?

I have that and the first 21 DP CDs, plus number 32. :-)
